I recently moved here from Utah, and my experience with this Discount Tire has been completely different from what I was used to. I know Discount Tire is a family-owned company, not a franchise, so I expected the pricing and customer service to be much more consistent between locations. Back in Utah, replacing TPMS sensors either had no labor charge or a small fee of around $7. At this location, I was quoted $24 per tire for labor. I understand labor costs money, but this seemed excessive compared to every Discount Tire location I’ve visited in the past. I also asked about a road force balance. I was told it costs $20 to $40 per tire, and because I purchased my tires from Discount Tire, they would charge me the lower rate of $20 per tire. That was surprising, especially since I’ve always associated Discount Tire with excellent value and lifetime tire service. What disappointed me the most was the customer service. I explained that if the labor charge couldn’t be waived or reduced, I would simply wait until my winter tire changeover to replace the TPMS sensors since the tires would already be coming off. Again, the outstanding service from this place never ceases to amaze me. Store manager Drew and his team who he works closely with did a phenomenal job again on the Stinger. I don’t hesitate at all to have them take care of my tires. I call ahead of time just to make sure I can get in and out quickly. Basically have never really been there longer than an hr. Boys keep doing what you are doing and I’ll be a customer for life!!! Again Drew and company thank you so much

Jesse and his crew did an amazing job! It was quick, fixed the tire and sensor and sent me on my way. He and his staff were very knowledgeable and made sure that I wasn’t sold something I didn’t need! I have been to many Discount Tire locations over the years but this hands down has been the best experience!

Jesse is great at his job. I had previously gone in to have my air pressure checked, and he helped me without hesitation and with a very friendly attitude. He mentioned that I needed new front tires and that one of my back tires was leaking air. Due to his professionalism and friendliness, I decided to go back and purchase all four tires. The whole team was great — very polite and friendly. Thank you, guys!

ALL the guys (not just one) in the store were friendly and made me feel like a valued customer. Just outstanding service and because of that you have a tire & wheel customer for life. What truly impressed me was how clean the shop was and the techs in the back. I have and will be telling anyone I know looking for tires/wheels about the Gurnee Discount tire.
